Aero Turbine Components was established in 2003 as an independent FAA Repair Station focused on PT6A hot section component repair and overhaul.
From our facility located in Worcester, Massachusetts, we support customers throughout the global aviation market. We are able to provide specialized support to overhaul facilities and operators wherever they are located.
Over the years, ATC has earned a reputation for quality workmanship, responsive service, and proprietary repair solutions. Many of our customer relationships have been built through decades of consistent performance and trusted support.
Under the leadership of President Matt Hooks and Founders Jon Adams and Steve Averka, ATC continues to invest in its people, processes, and repair capabilities while maintaining the customer focused approach that has defined the company since its founding.

Matt Hooks joined Aero Turbine Components as President in 2026 after a career leading strategic, operational, and growth initiatives across a range of industries, including manufacturing and industrial businesses. Today, he is focused on investing in the company’s people and capabilities while continuing its tradition of independence, responsive service, and high-quality PT6A component repairs. Matt holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.

Jon Adams is Co-Founder of Aero Turbine Components. With more than 40 years of experience in PT6 engine and component repair, Jon has spent his career developing specialized repair capabilities and serving the global turboprop community. Since co-founding Aero Turbine in 2003, he has helped build the company’s reputation for technical excellence, customer service, and high-quality PT6 component repairs.

Steve Averka is Co-Founder of Aero Turbine Components. For more than 40 years, Steve has specialized in the engineering and development of advanced PT6 component repair processes. Since co-founding Aero Turbine in 2003, he has helped establish the company’s technical capabilities across machining, welding, thermal spray, inspection, and proprietary DER-approved repairs, earning a reputation for innovative, high-quality component restoration.
We understand that every component sent to ATC represents an aircraft waiting to return to service, a maintenance schedule that must be met, and a customer relying on dependable results.
That responsibility drives our commitment to quality, communication, and dependable turnaround throughout every stage of the repair process.
ATC operates from an 8,000 square foot facility equipped to support specialized aerospace component repair operations.
Our workshop combines advanced equipment, refined processes, and experienced personnel to support the repair, restoration, and overhaul of PT6A hot section components.
